Bally Designer Bags Handbags Shoes
Bally Company History.
While visiting one of his clients in Paris in the 1890's, Bally decided to mass-produce high-quality footwear after falling in love with a pair of shoes he found for his wife there. He bought the entire stock. 'Papa Billy' continued buying such shoes for his wife and later started to manufacture his own collections in his factory. He died in 1898 but his son continued the business.
The Bally Shoe Company have set up, in Schonenwerd, Switzerland, the Bally Shoe Museum, where they have gathered the most extensive collection of historical boots and shoes ever seen under one roof. It is a priceless collection.
Bally have now set up their womenswear line. Alessandro Dell'Aqua was the designer for some time in 2001 followed by Scott Fellows from 1999-2002. Melissa Maish had worked at Bally till 1999 before Fellows, and after he left, she was called back in 2002 to oversee womenswear design again. In 2005 Luca Ragonese used the Bally family crest on colourful T-shirts and Jonny Coca creates harmonized accessories.
