Donald J Pliner of Florida, Inc. is a progressive company committed to trends, fashion, quality, and customer service. Comfort is especially important in all of our products, including footwear for men and women, leatherwear for men and women, handbags and belts. As a growing company we have expanded into the luxurious world of pet accessories with Friends of BabyDoll Pliner; a collection of outerwear, collars, leashes, harnesses, day carriers and FAA approved airline carriers for dogs up to 20 pounds. All of these accessories are manufactured in Italy or Spain with state-of-the-art quality control.

We believe in giving our customers the best of fashion, quality and most important comfort. Our Concept Stores offer a unique, theater effect with influences from Africa, Santa Fe, and Morocco. The décor illuminates both the designs and personality of Donald Pliner. Currently, we have Concept Stores in Aventura, Beverly Hills, Coral Gables, Houston, Las Vegas and San Jose. In 1989, Donald launched his own line of footwear and accessories which has since grown dramatically in popularity. Manufactured in Italy and Spain, Donald J Pliner designs luxury comfort footwear for men and women, as well as leatherwear, handbags, belts, eyewear, and hosiery. Recently, Donald launched the Friends of BabyDoll Pliner collection for dogs under 20 pounds who can travel on the plane and not below. It includes coats, leashes, collars, harnesses, sweaters, and carriers.

Who wears Donald J Pliner?
Men and women ages 18-80 wear Donald J Pliner. His shoes talk…they tell their fathers, grandmothers, bosses, sisters, lovers, uncles, and friends about themselves. It’s about an attitude, fashion, and comfort all at the same time. Donald designs shoes to take people from day to night, from the office to an event, from the beach to a black-tie gala…there is something for everyone. For the truly fashion-forward there are complete looks from head-to-toe. Shoes, handbags, and leatherwear with coordinating outfits for our four-legged friends is a definite fashion do!

What kinds of styles does Donald design?
Each fall and spring collection includes about 150 women’s and 50 men’s styles. These can be divided into eight lines or categories of footwear such as basics, casual, dress, sport, tailored, couture, western, and sport travel which uses a patented air-touch system for increased support and comfort. Donald uses a wide variety of materials such as baby calf, suede, shine calf, various elastics, patent, nubuck, nappa stretch, haircalf, oilskin calf, distressed metallic, satin, and velvet. The styles are always produced in basic colors as well as signature hues for each season like tang, fuchsia, and cinnamon for spring 2004. There are two lines of handbags; the couture collection coordinates with the footwear, while the other collection is designed as stand-alone statement pieces. The Friends of BabyDoll Pliner line always matches the season’s collection-and everyone wants their pup to have panache!
