Moo Roo Company History.

The humble beginnings of MOO ROO have become an inspiration and a legend within the fashion business. After having a dream one night, designer Mary Norton, created the first few MOO ROO (nicknames of her two daughters, Micah and Reilly) bags on her dining room table (in Charleston, South Carolina) as gifts for friends. Six short years later, MOO ROO has become an internationally acclaimed luxury brand with a huge celebrity and fashionista following.

MOO ROO bags have been featured in ELLE, In Style, Women’s Wear Daily, NY Times and many other publications. Designer, Mary Norton, has also become the “face behind the brand” being spotlighted by People Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine, EXTRA Television, and Good Morning America. In November 2004, The Today Show (NBC) did an entire feature on Mary Norton and MOO ROO.

Currently the MOO ROO brand encompasses evening bags, “day into night” bags, silk scarves, brooches and bracelets. MOO ROO can be found in such stores as Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Harvey Nichols, Seibu, as well as 300 luxury boutiques worldwide. MOO ROO can also be found at it’s own flagship boutique located on historic King Street in Charleston.

Mary Norton has grown a luxury brand with an emotional twist of whimsy and laughter. The MOO ROO philosophy is that fashion should be fun (especially if it is expensive) and that each MOO ROO product should bring joy to your life, a smile on your lips, and knowledge that you are a part of making a real dream come true.
